As much as I dislike it, there is a reason that a few people insist on everybody in this country speaking English. Ironically, oftentimes these are the same people who go to other countries and want everyone there to speak English as well . . . but . . . it is important that we all understand each other. That's why I encourage you all to learn Vietnamese and Spanish in order to score all the exotic tail that wouldn't otherwise be available to you.
Along these same lines, it's been recently brought to my attention that not everybody in the world is as cool as I am (that's what I thought in the first place) and not all of us know what "holla" means. Accordingly, I've changed the comment link back to its original setting. It may not matter much but I want to make sure that I'm understood by as many people as possible, unlike those white people at the mall who seem to speak their own language as they pose for one another . . . you know the type . . . Republicans.
By the way, the "holla" reference was a nod to one of my favorite rappers, Tupac. "Holla, if you hear me" was one of my favorite tracks of a misspent summer during my wasted youth. In no way at all was the "holla" comment tag related to Gwen Stefani's "Holla back girl" first of all because she's a sellout and secondly because it's a song about high school cheerleaders performed by a 35 year old woman.
Now you're starting to make me mad. Holla!
ReplyDeleteDon't be baggin on Gwen.
ReplyDeletethis ain't no hollaback comment.
ReplyDeletebut then i was raised in a holler sucking down moonshine and jerky.
