Screw the Pallid Sturgeon!

I have no idea what has gotten into Gov. Blunt but his decision to abandon plans for a spring rise on the Missouri River seems like the right thing to do. I don't know why anyone would want to risk flooding thousands of acres of farmland in the state for the sake of some fish that probably doesn't even taste that good. Additionally, "KMBC's Micheal Mahoney reported that a group of Missourians are upset because they found out that if their farm fields flood because of the Missouri River, the Agriculture Department won't pay the crop insurance because it's an artificial flood -- not a natural one."

So environmentalists want to flood the river, wipe out crops and bankrupt farms. Now I'm finally starting to realize how even nude environmentalists don't seem to garner that much support.
