Lee's Summit's city staff wants to reject tax assistance for a $536 million retail project called City Walk & Village.

A report to be discussed tonight by the Lee's Summit Downtown Economic Stimulus Authority says the staff does not recommend spending an estimated $175 million in public money. The money would pay to relocate businesses, upgrade roads and cover other costs.
