In rare instances when witnesses co-operate, the KCPD is able to solve crimes with record breaking speed.
A man who attacked a woman and snatched her purse Monday afternoon was arrested by Kansas City police less than 20 minutes later. He'd been identified by the woman he victimized.Incidentally, the woman was waiting for the bus near Ward Parkway when she was attacked. I know that quite a few local bloggers love public transportation but I'm sticking with my beat up old car, simply because it's a clear indication that I'm not worth robbing.
"nobody has yet to come up with an effective strategy for curbing all of the random violence that's killing the (mostly Black) people of this town." Well, you might be on to something with this!
ReplyDeleteLocal leaders (including those who with blogs) should continue to promote the idea that cooperation with local law enforcement is the best way to reduce violence in our city. Our silence (and a few well placed rounds) is killing us!
