Persecutor

The Jackson County prosecutor is getting tired of putting Black people in jail and now he wants to run for County Executive. And sadly it looks like appearing on Dr. Phil has softened him up, which is bad because he's pretty soft to begin with . . . sit ups bitch.

The Star notes that he isn't attacking Katheryn Shields right out of the gate and that he's trying to move away from "the long tradition of vitriol and name-calling that has pervaded county government." Pussy.

Councilman/Captain America look-alike Jim Rowland is also seeking the post. In the old days, they would have just met on the steps of the courthouse and beat the shit out of each other in the afternoon. The winner would get the job. It would have been a good fight too. Shields would quickly lay waste to Sander's pansy ass. But in the end, Rowland would've won the day with a throat punch or something similar . . . he has a longer reach than her.

Anyway, the smart money says that this race to be in charge of the county's checkbook will get ugly before it's over.
