The Parks department is fighting to keep their trucks green amid a move to bring more uniformity to all city vehicles.
Some heartless bastard (Wayne Cauthen) doesn't care about this city's traditions and so the color of the trucks will likely change along with the placement of the Parks & Rec logo which marks the side of the automobiles.
I've always found that the logo and color coding of the City's trucks was a nice local touch and made it really easy to spot the city employees who were sleeping in their beautiful vehicles.

ReplyDeleteYeah I deleted a comment. Besides spotting the slackers and sleepers and which department they're working for the multiple colors are really a good idea. Parks Department trucks should be green. Water blue...and anything that's out plowing city streets needs to be bright orange. Going to just one color or maybe two is silly.
