I will forgo the requisite "people who live in glass houses" reference regarding the recent hilarious damage to the KC Star's new production facility.
However, I will note that I don't know how people can trust an organization that didn't see this one coming. The building soon to house this town's rag is a nearly all glass structure in a downtown that is abandoned after 5 p.m., away from all of the redevelopment and within shooting range from the highway.
The rag is so out of touch with reality that they believe all of the redevelopment hype that they print and are surprised that their expensive windows are great targets for transients, vandals and other malcontents that want to find a way to shatter The Star's monopolistic control of the printed word in this town.
Tony, I don't think it's fair of you to say the Star has a monopoly. Afterall, you have more readers than the star.
