All Wet

A new KCK development is making developers all wet.
A waterpark resort proposed for western Kansas City, Kan., would cost nearly $412 million, with up to half of that coming from bonds repaid with sales-tax revenue. Unified Government administrators said Monday they had struck a deal with Schlitterbahn Waterworks of New Braunfels, Texas, that calls for using up to $206 million in STAR bonds to help build the resort, including paying for parts of a $60 million covered river walk.
While some may say that this is a waste of money, actually it's a pretty good idea considering that it'll be the closest that many KCK residents will get to a shower.
