We did it folks!!!

One hundred homicides this year and we’ve still got two months to go!

It’s amazing how far we’ve come. The year started with five murders right out of the gate, then we had an amazing summer with gunshots and gangsta rap beats syncing in perfect harmony.

There were times when I didn’t think we’d make it. But then a stupid fight over a lawn mower or a basketball game assured as all that KC really does have a killer instinct.

Meanwhile, Mayor Kay has managed to put out only one press release regarding KC’s bloody streets before she pretty much handed over everything to Councilman Alvin Brooks who is working on stopping bullets with candle wax.

I don’t know who should take the credit for this achievement. There are so many people to thank. Like I mentioned previously, this town’s gangsta rappers certainly deserve some kind of award for coming up with the soundtrack for the killings. The KCPD did their part by providing virtually no new ideas to encumber the process. But really everybody, whites, Blacks, Latinos, but mostly Black people worked to contribute to or tacitly tolerate the massacre on this city’s streets.
