"This project will include an additional lane on 71 Hwy from Bannister Road to just south of the Hickman Mills Drive interchange near 87th Street. The project includes enhanced pedestrian accommodations beneath the bridge along Bannister Road, improving walkability for those traveling through the corridor on foot. Crews will also rehabilitate existing culverts north and east of the interchange to improve long-term drainage and infrastructure reliability.
"Traffic headed north and southbound on 71 Hwy have been rerouted through the on and off ramps."
