Kansas City politicos are playing both sides of the stadium "protest" in order to bring locals to the inevitable conclusion.

To be fair, there is a "labor leader" featured in this report who has an exceptional record of literally shutting down nearly every fast food joint where he has worked to "organize" employees.

The people who were in the room share a long history on the same side of labor fights. Lucas has stood with low-wage workers alongside Wise. Organized labor has backed Stand Up KC’s campaigns for better pay. And Wise says his members show up when the unions call.

“Tell us where to show up … and we’re standing shoulder to shoulder,” Wise said. “But we’re not going to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Royals.”
