Report: MAGA Busts Kansas Budget?!?

It's always fun watching amateur online economists argue with people who do this kinda thing for a living. 

Here's the reporting that might be a little bit slanted even if the numbers should speak for themself . . .  

The Kansas state general fund was already projected to have a negative ending balance by the end of fiscal year 2029.

Now, that budget hole could hit a year sooner, said Sean Tomb, a budget analyst at the Kansas Division of the Budget. That's due to lower corporate income tax revenue than was predicted before the federal government cut taxes.

The federal tax cuts will cut state tax revenue by at least $100 million, Tomb said while speaking at the Greater Topeka Partnership's economic outlook conference at Washburn University
