Northeast News Joins KC Media Collective & Pauses Publishing Scathing Editorials

No complaints here . . . News organizations have to do what is necessary to survive. 

However . . .

As we've noted many times before . . . There is a COST to the non-profit model of local journalism and that typically comes at the expense of fiery editorial content and cutting-edge/alternative feature writing.

Northeast New was once a leader in the KCMO op/ed space and now that voice isn't so bombastic or challenging to the local status quo.

Again . . . We love this local paper and we'd rather see it SURVIVE than go down in a flames over a controversial screed . . . As always, here's their side of the story . . .
