Newsflash: Kansas City Westside Taxes Skyrocket Along With Most Of Jackson County

Public radio "reports" on a years-old fight with a bit of a new spin.

Rather than holding anyone at the courthouse accountable . . . There's an effort to focus on a tax break aimed at the low-end of the spectrum.

Again . . . What they don't report is that these smallish discounts require a great bit of "disclosure" that's only slightly less revealing than a colonoscopy.

"A new, City Council-approved plan will offer drastic tax cuts for Westside homeowners. It comes after the Westside experienced the highest increase in property taxes out of any Jackson County neighborhood."
