Blue Springs Suffers Saturday Night Deadly Church Parking Lot Shooting

Upon arrival, one male victim was found dead and another male victim was injured and taken to a nearby hospital. The incident is not related to the church and is still under investigation.

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. - Around 6:40 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to the 600 block of NE Jefferson Street in regard to a shooting at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection. Upon arrival, one male victim was found dead and another male victim was injured and taken to a nearby hospital.

Blue Springs police respond to multiple threats Saturday night

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Blue Springs Police Department responded to multiple threats Saturday night. A fatal shooting took place around 6:40 p.m. in the parking lot of a church in the 600 block of Northeast Jefferson Street. Originally dispatched on the sound of shots fired, police arrived and discovered a deceased man.
