Kansas City Country Club Plaza Dying: Luxury Brand Kate Spade Exits

The Internets has ruined the fortunes of American retail and any hope for survival was buried by COVID.

And so . . . 

An iconic Kansas City entertainment district loses another high profile luxury brand.

Here's a quote from a local news source that we've stolen liberated because they cheered rioters in 2020 who attacked this local district and the many JOBS it provided . . .

The (Kate Spade) shop opened in the 1,490-square-foot space at 321 Nichols Road in late October 2011, next to Michael Kors. It sells handbags, wallets, shoes, clothing, jewelry, accessories, gifts and home accessories.

The store is scheduled to close Jan. 23, and the company is directing customers to its online store, katespade.com, as well as to its outlet store in the Legends Outlets Kansas City in Kansas City, Kansas.
