Mayor Quinton Lucas has been in office for almost two years. That's a big enough sample size to judge his performance. We endorsed Lucas in 2019, and we don't regret the decision. Over the past two years, the mayor has succeeded more times than not, even when faced with the enormous, unforeseen challenges of a pandemic and racial unrest after George Floyd was murdered.
