  1. He seemed like a nice guy when I saw him one day and I know he has tried to do a lot here in our city but wondering why with the hatred of our President Trump the phrase "The best is yet to come" is being used in this article?????

  2. Brooks started the ad Hoc organization in 1977 to supposedly address rising crime in the black community.
And he made a very good living shaking down all the white guilt suburbanites for decades.
But the violence and homicides in KCMO is worse than ever today and the organization is still stumbling along on the taxpayers' dime and other funding.
You might hope that either the organization would change what it's doing or combine with some other "anti-crime nonprofit", but that never seems to happen.
New "organizations" appear, but the tired old failures never go away.

  4. All that hard-earned cash from sucking the teat of others has taken the stress off him and allowed him to live a long, good life. Where there's a will, there's a way.

  5. Amazing how the black community simply refuses to see what the problem is

  6. Is Isle of Capri in Boonville still his favorite hangout?

  7. At least he's been able to slow down the black-on-black crime and the lack of fathers staying with and helping raise their children in the black community. Oh wait ...

  8. Still waiting to hear how the murder of two Muslim Teenagers by an Adult Family Member was an example of "racism" and the fault of the KCMO Police Department.

  10. Ever notice how Alvin never brings up race as a cause for the problems? Ex-Cop that knows what is going on and he has been a warrior for the entire community because he knows a rising tide lifts all boats. He is a good man. The fat black rev's need to listen to him.
