TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! PROGRESSIVES BETRAY KANSAS CITY MAYOR QUINTON LUCAS AMID THREAT OF HOMELESS PROTEST CAMP 'SWEEP' EVICTION!!!

This afternoon many Kansas City social justice activists rally in defense of downtown and Westport homeless camp which have earned repeated complaints and frustration from nearby residents and businesses.

First and foremost, we're disappointed to see social media and so many "journalists" fall victim to activist chatter that mistakenly alleged an afternoon sweep.

Allegations of drug use and illegal activity at these sites should at least offer some reason to second guess their claims.

But here's the more important trend from a local political perspective . . .

KC TENANTS FORSAKE MAYOR QUINTON LUCAS IN SUPPORT OF THE HOMELESS!!!

Here's a peek at their tense exchange today . . .

Accordingly . . .

AS ALWAYS, NO GOO DEED GOES UNPUNISHED AS ONE OF MAYOR Q'S STRONGEST CONSTITUENCIES CONDEMNS THE IMPENDING EVICTION NOW MISLABELED A HOMELESS SWEEP!!!

 Even better . . .

The entertaining part of all this is watching Mayor Q betray his social justice and progressive talking points.

The takeaway . . .

Whilst a more responsible elected leader would have always supported home owners, stakeholders and nearby businesses . . .  Mayor Q continually lets himself get carried away with progressive rhetoric that hoped to outlaw rent or some similar kind of nonsense.

Now that voter outcry has reached a crescendo and Westport leaders are searching for a challenger to Mayor Lucas, removing these protesters is the only real option if elected officials want to maintain any semblance of credibility.

And so, the homeless drama turns into a local media circus wherein more than a few newsies help to amplify the voices of alleged drug addicts over the legit concerns of Midtown Kansas City residents.

  1. do your job mayor. Throw the bums out.

  2. This is so simple, get them out of there. This is what the mayor and the council get for allowing it in the 1st place. These locations are eyesores to the city, unsanitary and let's not forget we are still in a pandemic.

Will the city ever stand up and do the right thing? Doubtful

The media is part of the problem, they aren't journalists, they are activists masquerading as a reporter....that's not journalism!!

  3. leadership failure so far.

    kansas city becoming dystopia.

  4. Anybody with any life experience or common sense understands that making believe that pandering to groups like this ever ends.
They hang their hat of "credibility" on making demands, so what they want never ends, because then the red lights go out on the TV cameras and they disappear.
Maybe when more hospital space opens up after the pandemic, Lucas can get the spine transplant he so desperately needs.
The only problem with waiting, though, is all the damage his incompetence, cowardice, and pandering is doing to the city each and every day.

  5. The good thing about progressives they will and are turning on each other. The racist mayor won't do his job and get these people off of the streets he has no backbone and he's a black racist that wants to punish any white business owner or white resident so don't expect him to do his job he doesn't know how to do anything he's a complete moron with no business sense.

  7. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has declined to throw the first pitch at the Texas Ranger’s home opener and declined to participate in any Major League Baseball (MLB) events after the league announced plans to relocate their All-Star Game from Atlanta in response to Georgia’s newly passed election integrity law.

“Major League Baseball adopted what has turned out to be a false narrative about the election law reforms in Georgia, and, based on that false narrative, moved the MLB All-Star game from Atlanta,” Abbott said in a statement.

“It is shameful that America’s pastime is not only being influenced by partisan political politics but also perpetuating false political narratives.” Adding, “This decision does not diminish the deep respect I have for the Texas Rangers baseball organization, which is outstanding from top to bottom.”

  8. Leave them alone. This will help the new MLB organization for the political purpose. Be sure to vote NO for the E tax, it will help the homeless and bring the ALLSTAR game to Kcmo.

  9. I love watching the useless mayor squirm. He thought he was smart enough to play both sides. The little weasel is gonna be a one-term mayor and no political future on the horizon. So sad.

  10. To no one's surprise, other than the Mayor and City Council, the KC Tenants organization turns out to be just another left wing activist mob. They were funded to assist tenants, not tent-ants.

  11. Mob rule the definition of democracy. Fortunately we are Democratic Republic. Lickass needs to study up on the Republic/Rule of Law part.

  12. These homeless have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Not free housing. Not a free shower. Not for someone else to find you à job. Nobody owes these people anything.
Now, strike your tents, and stop your illegal squatting.

  16. How can the mayor kick these people out when the liberals have failed KC for 50 yrs.

  17. I just wish the Mayor would move them to Ward Parkway and Loose Park. I would like to see the reaction from the liberal democrats, when they have to deal with the people they fund.

  18. Lucas does look drugged out all the time. Why else would someone wear a suit with shorts and mismatched tenny laces for a yoga phot op? Does he actually believe any grown up who isn’t a druggie or a complete moron think he is cool? I think he’s on something. He has the look of the ghetto and it ain’t because of the color of his skin.

  19. Most houseless people want to live on the street. These camps are helpful. The "liberals" who want to "help" them are not appreciated. They don't want houses, jobs, etc. They want to be left alone. Leave them alone! The camps will disappear as soon as the libs discover the city doesn't care.

The Mayor wants to be "cool". He doesn't want to clear the camps, but his campaign donors do. Poor guy.

  20. MSM won't report on this... They say ww3 will be less than a month away. The Ukrainian president has signed a declaration of war with Russia March 24 2021. 100k troops on both sides a total of 200k are lined up around the border of Russia and the Ukraine. This was started back when Barack Obama John McCain and Joe Biden were urging the Ukraine people to form a coup and take over the Gov. It's always a democrat that starts a war and this will be the last war we ever see.

  21. Pat Carlson FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP saying "houseless." Do you not realize how idiotic you sound? The word is "homeless." Not some politically correct, made up stupid word by activists who are trying to be pc. You all sound like imbeciles.

  22. Lucas has always tried to portray himself as a caring and sharing progressive savior, but is so un-savvy that he folds at the slightest bad press or criticism. At any hint of disagreement, he immediately goes into his chameleon act, trying to be all things to all people.

I'm not sure how he acquired such an inflated opinion of his own abilities, but in a very short period of time he's proven himself incompetent.

This is not to say the Dems won't tap him for higher office. With the media in their pocket - because in the current era branding is everything - he'd be the sort of photogenic ventriloquist dummy they love.

But his future as mayor of KC is not bright (not to worry . . . the next one will be just as bad, if not worse)

  25. YES!!!!! The far left has turned on Mayor Q and it did not take them very long like predicted. Liberals always eat their own. Mayor Q has no clue who his real enemies are. Here's a hint, it's not the conservatives and moderates like he's always believed.

    ReplyDelete
  26. The Mayor failed by allowing it in the first place. It should've been nipped in the bud months ago. Another failure on Mayor Q's. part.

  27. I love it when the true racist, hateful, left turns on one another. LOVING IT!!!!!!!!!!!
