The Kansas City Homeless Union and residents of hotel rooms recently requisitioned by the administration of Mayor Quinton Lucas confront a bitter leadership struggle as time is quickly running out on housing options and a recent emergency move highlighted emerging conflict.

QADHAFI DENOUNCES DETRACTORS AND NEW FACTIONS QUICKLY EMERGING IN KANSAS CITY HOMELESS LEADERSHIP!!!
Meanwhile, allegations of damage to hotel property and messy FREE ROOMS have seemingly shifted public sentiment away from the ongoing crusade for homeless rights.
Better than our preamble, an extensive interview with Qadhafi helps to explain the situation . . .
Relocation AftermathHipster Homeless Life LessonPeople staying in Kansas City hotels as part of temporary program to address homelessness now being moved
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - It has been 19 days since Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas and the leader of the KC Homeless Union announced the city would cover 500 hotels rooms for 90 days for people experiencing homelessness to give people some stability. People had been living in a dozen facilities across town.
KC's experiment relocating the homeless to hotels yields uneven results

Reactions were overwhelmingly positive from the community.

Who would dare oppose Kadaffi? That guy is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHey, he isn't as cool as Chaz the Warlord was in Seattle. Why can't we have a warlord???
DeleteThey could find jobs and start paying taxes..
ReplyDeletehow can you say the words " leadership of the homeless" with a straight face!
ReplyDeleteQadhafi needs to shut his stupid mouth and get a job. Worthless cocksucker.
ReplyDeleteSome leader. This stewbum would make a better mayor than McDrinkerson, but then again so would a bowl of macaroni and cheese.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha. Ridiculous. All of it. Except for the part where taxpayers are getting screwed. Again.
ReplyDeleteHyatt Hotels don't like guests dragging their dirty butts over the carpets to clean off the aftermath of Taco Bell night.
ReplyDeleteIt's never enough.
ReplyDeleteMayor McYogashorts and the powers to be at city hall would have been better off to house the homeless in the caves. When the KCFD moved in to hose them down the high pressure water would not damage the walls and support pillars. When Dr Wrecks poured bleach in the food and some spilled on the floor no damage. One way in and out so they could pass through metal detectors to identify banned items. Win-win all the way around.
ReplyDeleteThoughts and prayers for the cleanup crew at the motel/hotel they were staying in.
ReplyDeleteReactions were overwhelmingly positive from the community.
ReplyDeleteOnly the Pitch would print a lie like that, well maybe the Star also.
The point being you have to be an idiot to not think these so called homeless asshole wouldn't destroy a place. They are like black people you give them something nice and they tear it up.
Kick their fucking asses to the streets then move them over to the MLK park and put it to use. Erect army style tents and call it Lucasville.
Uneven results? Try it yielded the fucked up mess that you were told that it would.
ReplyDeleteThis guy negotiating from a position of strength? What a fucking clown.
ReplyDeleteThousands of jobs go unfilled and these bums live off of the tax payer teat.
ReplyDeleteIf you want rights get a job and be a productive member of society instead of a societal leach!
ReplyDeleteI can't stand to listen to their plaintive whining even on more second. Put them in goddamn jail cells and they can learn a trade in prison. If they're released and still can't contribute anything to society, throw them in there for life. Start with Qadhafi. No more coddling these good for nothing asshole friends of Quinton Lucas.
ReplyDeleteWow there's a whole new class of chucklowes today
DeleteQdaffy just wants to hold on to his little sliver of power. He has had his moment. He's done.
ReplyDeleteGet a job you bum!
ReplyDeleteTry not to piss your bed tonight 6:01
ReplyDeleteNegotiating terms with the mentally ill always has such good results.
ReplyDeleteDid Lucas actually think that discussing terms with a ranting maniac named Qadhafi, who looks like he just crawled out of a dumpster, would be successful?
Of course not . . . but as long he was seen doing so on camera it might increase his chances of becoming a darling of the national media. The dude really thinks he's Obama 2.0
Qhadaffi took the job as organizer because nobody could handle the job. He's hung in through winter camping, police attacks and forced removal. Being homeless is hard on people, it changes them. Some survive, some die and some go insane.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that Lucas has in common with Obama is that their wives have penises.
ReplyDelete^^^Or, they could just get a job and pay rent like the rest of us.
ReplyDeleteOf they could do us all a favor and die.
ReplyDelete6:57 PM True statement.
ReplyDelete^^^true statement about their wives having penises.
ReplyDeleteQadhafi took the job as organizer because he's a homeless derelict raving maniac with control issues.
ReplyDeleteHes not the leadership of the homeless. The leadership of the homeless ARENT HOMELESS ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY GOT CLEAN I CAN THINK OF MANY OTHER ACTUAL MENTORS AND NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS VS THIS FUCKING GUY. GIVE ME A BREAK I USED TO BE HOMELESS IN KC YOU ONOW WHY IM NOT ANYMORE? BECAUSE I STOPPED DRINKING AND STOPPED DOING DRUGS. KADAFI. GO FUCK YOURSELF
ReplyDeletelets get real , this guys out for cash hes older and can't work i get it. But don't claim to lead anybody bro. This guy is not a representative of the homeless. Piece of garbage
ReplyDeleteHeavy is the head that wears the crown.
ReplyDeleteI tried to watch the interview with Qadhafi. Incoherent. Seems the "leader" doesn't like having to fill out paperwork for the organizations trying to help him. How is he ever going to be able to fill out a job application? It doesn't matter how much help (free shit) you give, it is not good enough.
ReplyDeleteYou know that Qadhafi recently got out of prison after serving part of a 25 year sentence for murder. What a great leader and what a shame that our City leaders are giving him credibility. If we are going to provide them homes, at least make them work sometime by picking up trash on our roadways.
ReplyDeleteHe sounds high and drunk.
ReplyDeleteIt is a sad day when our mayor gives into someone like this. This man either either high, mentally ill, or both.
ReplyDeleteGaddafi wants a half million dollar home in Joco and a brand new car for free. lol. I guess if you do drugs and don't work or go to school it pays off in KCMO?
ReplyDeleteThis man is a convicted murderer who our very own mayor caved to. Think about that for a second.
