Kansas City budget talks continue with zoo, WWI Museum and more underfunded

Kansas City's share of funding for cultural organizations like the Kansas City Zoo and the National World War I Museum and Memorial have been slashed by 50%. But council members are looking at how to refund those cuts with federal COVID-19 relief money.

need to spend more money on studying repartitions for all the hard working welfare recipients and providing services for all the illegal aliens soon to be arriving.

Sad but true. Never mind that it still takes about a year of steady complaining to get a neighborhood street pothole fixed.

Don’t be racist. Vote NO for the tax. The language is ambiguous and will hurt struggling families east of Troost.
