Kansas City Tornado Drill, Not The Rapture

A few curious, anxious souls have asked . . . Here's the explanation:

Tuesday's tornado drill and safety day for Missouri & Kansas

Sirens in both states will sound at this time for five minutes or so. This is an opportunity to practice your tornado plan with your family at home. All this week, the FOX 4 Weather Team will be getting you ready for the upcoming severe weather season.

    They need to work on coordination. My phone, tablet and television went off at different intervals over 20 minutes and the weather radio never did.

    The hilarious part is somebody at the local National Weather Service made a mistake and sent the 'test' out as an actual tornado warning severe weather alert. No mention in the text that it was a test and no "TEST" event level key was in the message header. It got sent out as the real deal.
