Kansas City civil rights activist Alvin Sykes dies at 64
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Alvin Sykes, one of Kansas City's most prominent civil rights activists, died Friday, 41 Action News confirmed. KCUR-FM reported that Sykes suffered a fall two years ago, which led to numerous additional medical complications.
