Beleaguered Downtown Kansas City Restaurant Workers Forced To Impose Masks And Distance On Rowdy Big 12 Guests

Quick message from a TKC reader offers a glimpse at horrible jobs made worse by city hall, the plague and garbage bosses . . .

"Getting it from both sides. Have to play mask cop and keep reminding people about COVID rules or my manager tells me that I could get the place shut down. And then our degenerate customers are calling me a Nazi for enforcing the rules that don't exist in their backwoods homes. Hope that corona bat is roasting in Hell right now."

Power & Light District takes precautions ahead of Big 12 tournaments

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - When men's and women's basketball teams from the Big 12 Conference tip off their annual end-of-season tournaments at T-Mobile Center and Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri, this week, the Power & Light District naturally becomes a central meeting place.

Something tells me you weren't a very big tipper in the first place.

I'm they go rid of the Denny's downtown so you're probably priced out.

      Sorry.

  2. Ah yes, Kanas City... the place where fun no longer exists and mask Nazis abound. The Yelp reviews should be entertaining as hell.

  3. Hire a bad motherfucker with a gun. Tell the staff not to worry about it. Businesses gotta do what they have to do to survive Wrecks Archer.

  4. “And then our degenerate customers are calling me a Nazi for enforcing the rules that don't exist in their backwoods homes.”

I call bullshit with that racist language, this is exactly something mayor dark winter and the fat fake wrecks archer would say. They just can’t admit or except that people from other states have eased or removed their mask rules because covid isn’t that big a deal anymore.

It’s all about control, and our fearless leaders are embarrassed because the world is easing restrictions because you know, science and all and they won’t because they are stupid.

I dare you to work one night on my shift and see if you can hack it.

And by the way, I didn't mean backwoods to be racist. If you've ever waited tables a day in your life you know not to make generalizations about people because good tippers and bad customers can come from any walk of life.

    2. Backwoods huh? Not “racist”. I’ll remember that next time I read “ghetto” in TKCs comments. Good to know.

  8. If you can't handle a nightshift with reduced capacity you need to change occupations. Have you considered an occupation what involves asking, "Do you want fries with that" Emmy? Obviously you aren't moving fast enough to keep food and drink on the table. Apply for drive thru at McDonald's or something more your speed. They have nice glass cases that you can stand in where you don't have to play face diaper cop. 😏❄ Sorry, not sorry. No sympathy Next!

  12. What a walking personality disorder. Find another industry to hate your customers in.

  13. Wrecks Archer and the mask Nazis should stand down for this event...completely. Let the backwoods hicks have their fun. It. Is the only hope most downtown establishments have of surviving.
