  1. There was a great book written about how a man whose daughter overdosed on cocaine, sent a man to Columbia and poisened the next batch of drugs being manufactured
He then placed ads across country to let everyone know that in two weeks anyone taking drugs were going to die
Maybe we should actually do that

  4. it was about two months ago ............ so i see this middle aged black guy walking a half block away and making the turn down my street to the stop sign in front of my house. less than a hundred yards all together.

he's walking real slow, has a can of beer in one hand, mismatched socks, long bb style shorts, a light windbreaker - hardly dressed properly for the sunless cold day when this happened - i'm sorta out of view from him outside having a smoke.

so he just stops right past the stop sign, reaches out of his pocket a dollar bill and tries to lay it flat on the pavement without bending over - the beer can is already on the ground unspilled. then he puts a small comb/pick on the ground. he seem o.k. so far, i figure just a little bit drunk.

so i walk around the house away from him so that he doesn't see me and come around the other side. now he has his shirt off. i go in the house and close the front blinds and curtains so no one here inside can see outside to have a look.

then i go upstairs to have a peek out the window. well, now he's sitting on the corner butt naked faced away from my house but is facing northbound traffic where the people driving can see him as well as the southbounders if they take a gander to the left.

i'm thinking he's not really bothering anyone other than sitting naked. then he starts attempting to pull out his afro/hair with both hands - now i think this guy can really use some help so i call 911 and explain more or less what you all have just read. I mention he's not really a threat to anyone but he's pretty f**cked up and appears he could use some professional help.

dispatch says it's already been called in and about when i'm through speaking on the phone two squad cars show up.

they try to get his name i think, his address for starters. they didn't get very far with that. then a firetruck shows up. so five or six are now trying to help him at the least to speak some words - no dice, the flashing lights from the squad cars and firetruck are starting to freak him out but he is up and walking around albeit not towards the people trying to help him.

then the ambulance shows up and those lights really got the guy a buggin'. after about twenty minutes or so he's loaded on a gurney very much alive but not wanting a ride to the hospital.

then after he's taken away the fire dept. explains about the bad fentenol laced drugs that were around the neighborhood - bad news and that guy wasn't the first to be affected with the stuff. they supposedly had several calls within the few day period back then.

i've never seen anyone ever try to yank out their own hair before - must be bad.

  8. Fentanyl is the only thing I want for the rest of my life. It is way better than heroin. And it’s really not addictive, I can use it twice a day, everyday and not get addicted.

  9. 9:35 So what part of Hyde Park do you and your boyfriend live in?

  10. "... beg the addicted to rethink already atrocious life choices."

    They can't. They're addicts.

What part of addiction do you not understand?

    1. You're displaying your ignorance again.

Addicts, like everyone else, have agency and the ability to make independent choices. That's why many recover.

  11. Just “de-criminalize” it and let Darwin’s theory do the rest.

  12. Maybe we should follow Seattle's example and just legalize the dope. I can't wait to see what the results of that great experiment are going to be.

  13. ^^^ 9:14 PM, You are totally wrong. Black folks won't take the vaccine, will take any illegal drug however. Weird

  14. very few Addicts recover. You might want to look up actual statistics instead of type bullshit. You will be a statistic yourself via denial of your addiction. Keep posting. Addicts are just great for keep law enforcement and the medical community in bucks. That's what you really meant.
