KCFD CHIEF AND MAYOR QUINTON LUCAS TOUT MASK MANDATE AFTER TRAGIC FIRST RESPONDER DEATHS!!!

Kansas City top ranking officials are referencing a horrible series of tragedies in support of the mask mandate.

Right now we're reaching out for more comment from a few KCFD readers.

However, the perspective from City Hall deserves attention . . .

Fallen KCFD personnel 'gave their lives in service to this city'

Deets:

"Communications Specialist Scott Davidson, 45, died Sunday after contracting the virus in the line of duty. The day prior, Cpt. Bobby Rocha died as a result of COVID-19. Earlier this year, EMT Billy Birmingham lost his fight against the virus."

Main point . . .

From the KCFD Chief . . . "The whole idea is how do we slow our pace down and protect ourselves as responders and protect the people that we are interacting with every day," KCFD: Lake said. "We had to make drastic changes, like shutting down our fire stations and our public education modules that we do on a daily basis, just to help keep our responders safe. Just to help keep the public home. And that doesn't mean that we're not going continue to respond in the proud and professional way that our employees do on every single day that they're at work."

From the Mayor . . .

"Kansas City, Missouri, Mayor Quinton Lucas said 1,300 new COVID-19 cases were reported Saturday in the city, and that the city’s total number of cases is more than 70,000.

“Please keep our soldiers safe. Our paramedics, our firefighters, our nurses, our police officers,” Lucas said. “Everyone in our city. Your family, your relatives, your friends, and please make sure you wear a mask.”

  1. wear your mask.

    Don't do it because there's a mandate.

Do it because you're a decent person.

  4. Ha Ha Ha Ha Funny no one seemed to question ANTIFA and BLM when they wouldn't wear a mask but people say wear a mask to be a decent person? Screw You!

Quinton Lucas and his numbers of COVID are a lie. Oh and he doesn't wear a mask Only when he's in the public eye does he show off and put one on. "LOOK AT ME" gee he's like a little baby. No I'm not wearing a mask.

  8. We don’t have 70,000 cases, the entire metro area has roughly 44,000 but we only have 20,112 and 255 deaths, all this is since March too. We probably only have 2000 active cases at this point unless the boy blunder meant to say we have 1300 active cases. He’s such a liar he doesn’t think anybody is paying attention to these numbers. There’s no way the seven counties combined had 1300 new cases. I call absolute bullshit.

On 11/10 we had 17290, on 11/19 we had 19609. 11/22 we have 20,112, the math says we’ve added 503 in three days, the numbers and the sicence don’t lie mayor, you do.

Remember after ten days numbers come off the list of active cases, actually everyday can be considered the first day for some and the 10th day for others. You’re busted again you lying sack of shit.

  12. The big question is since they’re cancelling thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years will dark winter doom and gloom joe and his hoe cancel the public portion of the inauguration?

Can’t wait to see how they and the fake dr fauci handle this super spreader event.

  13. Not no but hell NO!

  14. Matter of fact, the city should be posting the number of current active case daily, they’ve only been posting total numbers since the beginning, it is public information and we have the right to know.

  15. My business sells a product to KCMO used at fire stations to help keep them clean and safe. I will not sell them anymore because KCMO does not pay the bills. I have past due invoices over 50 days that no one at City Hall will pay so I cut off KCMO General Services Department that maintains the fire stations. Bad time for KCMO to be a deadbeat. Too bad more firefighters may catch the rona at work.

  16. JUST THE FACTS MA'AM

Everybody appreciates good first responders, but don't hide behind a body to excuse a politically inept public health policy which does far more damage than any good.

The recently released Danmask study provides scientific results that wearing masks in public leads to no significant reduction in the transmission rate/sickness/death from the SARS-CoV-2 virus. But don't let actual science interfere with your desire to violate the rights of others.

First Name Last Name Position Gross Pay Overtime Pay Bonus Pay

    Scott Davidson Communications Specialist $84,164.37 $8,952.04 $0.00

    Robert Rocha Fire Captain $85,182.80 $708.71 $0.00

Billy Birmingham Emergency Medical Technician $92,526.80 $31,643.82 $0.00

KCFD Chief Donna (Maize) Lake as Director Of Public Safety received $168,257.77 per year, plus benefits, etc.

KCMO Mayor Quinton Lucas receives $141,455 per year, plus a monthly car allowance, other benefits and perks.

Early on in the COVID-19 pandemic, health experts said masks weren’t necessary.

“There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, an immunologist and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who served on the White House Coronavirus Task Force, said in March on CBS News. “When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is.”

Because that's what science does. It bases things on evidence. What may have been true in March isn't true today.

They are relying on MARC's numbers which cover a 9-county area. Panic over nothing. The death rate is down not only in Missouri but Jackson County and KC.

  25. 9:01 I thought kcmo was keeping track of their own numbers, it’s really not hard since they’re all up in your business when you get reported. I’ve heard they contact you for everything under the sun. It’s really simple, if you get a certain number of new cases today then you can subtract that number ten days later. They have been very sketchy about reporting daily cases.

  26. ^^^ apparently the boy blunder doesn’t know because he said kc has 70,000 and added 1300 yesterday alone, he just pulled a China joe biden on us! Hahahahaha!

By the way, why is he still traveling all over the country when he should be staying home? And how much money is he costing us jet setting the globe when we’re broke as fuck?

I bet the 850 furloughed workers would like an answer for that.

    --------------------------

Do you even read your own SHIT before you post?
    The quote was:
“There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, an immunologist and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who served on the White House Coronavirus Task Force, said in March on CBS News. “When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is.”

I thought Fauci was the nation's "expert"? If he said that masks were worthless in March, based on a lifetime of study and experience, then the same is true for April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and now!

You said, "What may have been true in March isn't true today." You mean, like, in March you were of average intelligence but today you have shit for brains? I agree with that statement.
