After controversy in 25-year-old's shooting death by deputy, Pettis County elects new sheriff

PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. - In Pettis County, Missouri there's going to be a new sheriff for the first time in 16 years. Tuesday night, Brad Anders won the race as an Independent after controversy in the county. He won the race by fewer than 350 votes.

  2. The new Sheriff is going to lose a lot of staff. His character is questionable. Not going into detail on how or why I know but Pettis County is going to have bigger problems than a dumb kid that wouldn't follow instructions.

  7. The real problem is that 85% of the residents are inbreds and and even higher percentage (90%) use meth and hillbilly heroin daily. It’s like Deliverance down there. Other than that, Pettis County is a nice place.
