Johnson County COVID-19 Crackdown: Gatherings Limited To 50 People Or 50%

The rampant spread of coronavirus has sparked more precautions for the Golden Ghetto. 

Mask orders were upheld along with limits on meetups.

The "new normal" will persist throughout 2020, into January and probably beyond that . . .

"The new restrictions will go into effect Monday and will not end until at least Jan. 31."

Wary of another stay-at-home order, Johnson County approves new restrictions to curb COVID-19

OLATHE, Kan. - Johnson County leaders have approved new COVID-19 restrictions set to begin Monday. There's no doubt there's a major growth of new COVID-19 cases and hospitalization in Johnson County and around the metro. Hospitals, the health department and schools said rising coronavirus cases are becoming a major burden and action is needed.
