KANSAS CITY ART INSTITUTE DENOUNCED AS RACIST BY STUDENT ACTIVIST GROUP!!!

Here's a bit of worthwhile creative-class reporting regarding the antics of students who have the luxury of paying TENS OF THOUSANDS every semester for a degree with questionable value.

Kansas City Art Institute Responds to Student Group KCAI Solidarity

Informality is an organization dedicated to informal and informative dialogue around art in the Kansas City region. For that reason, we have decided to publish the document below from KCAI Solidarity, a newly formed group run by the Student Solidarity Network and the Black Student Union at the Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI).

    2. They're usually too lazy to try and eat. Mass starvation in leftist communities is only topped by mass suicide.

"Willie Brown, later speaker of the California assembly and mayor of San Francisco, compared Jim Jones to Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi. Dianne Feinstein joined the rest of the San Francisco board of supervisors in honoring Jones “in recognition of his guidance and inspiration” in furthering “humanitarian programs.”"

  2. Umm...
It's a private school, and expensive.
Don't go there if you don't like it.
    "We demand"..
    Idiots

  3. I'll be anxious to see the KCAI capitulate to these demands. They won't do it out of principle - they'll do it for self-preservation. They need the students and the tuition.

  4. Having known quite a few KCAI alumni, at $40k+ a year, these 'students' are setting themselves up for years of bitterness and regret. There are very few jobs as "artists" that can justify the student loans these students are taking on. Only those that get "real" jobs in advertising, graphic design, etc. are able to stomach the student debt. The ones are the most bitter are those that get a sculpture degree and don't have the talent or drive to be professional artist. They spend the next 30 years complaining about their victimization by KCAI and the unfair student debt they took on. They want the plumber who makes $80k a year and never went to college to subsidize their mistakes.

  5. KCAI will fold quicker than a lawn chair. Not because they need the money, but because its administrators and teachers are themselves leftists who actually believe some of that hooey.

  6. #13 Free Parking. The only reasonable demand. It's an expensive private college, dont put yourself in a shit ton of debt at a young age. Go to community college. Community college is more inclusive too.

  7. These little pricks like to demand a lot of things that have nothing to do with art. They need to learn how many gallons of paint to order for a two story house.

    * We demand the school hire and retain a minimum of 25% Indigenous, Black, Brown faculty into tenure-track positions immediately.

*We demand the school acknowledge the importance of Queer faculty and work towards making the campus environment.

  8. KCAI is a great educational institution that has always valued diversity and inclusion. Developing and celebrating the individual talents of their students has always been the key to their success. They have great institutioal leadership that will address student "demands" with respect and full consideration.

  11. The biggest mistake kcai has made is hiring those grifters at MRI to manage their covid response. The enitre campus will be infected in 6 weeks.
