MISSOURI REPUBLICANS RALLY TO DEFENSE OF STL GUN COUPLE!!!

Not sure if strident 2nd Amendment defense of a mansion from a mob of protesters will resonate with the mostly broke-ass voters of Missouri . . . But conservative Show-Me State politicos are picking the controversial pair as campaign poster children.

The Missouri AG vows to stand up for the McCloskey clan . . .

Moreover, Sen Hawley calls for investigation of St Louis circuit attorney who is charging the couple . . .

  1. I'm a gun guy. Many of my friends are gun people. We all understand how the gun laws work in Missouri and in most states and we don't see the strong defense for what appears to be brandishing.

This appears to be Republican politicos lagging themselves to the mast of an out of control ship.

  3. ^^^^^@ 8:23 WRONG the trespassing law in Missouri says if an intruder won't leave your property and you are threatened "which they were" you have the right to pull a gun. Deal with it liberal anti American terrorist.

  4. ^^^dude you can’t threaten to shoot someone for trespassing. I know this concept is over many of your heads, but you just can’t point guns at people who pose to imminent threat of serious injury or death. Please shut off FOX news and read a book.

  7. Most crimes that are thwarted by someone with a gun are done so without ever discharging a weapon. By the reasoning of the terroristic left all of those successful defensive usages of guns should be reclassified as crimes by the gun owners.

  8. well you see 8:39, laws don't apply to Republicans and their type. you only need to look at the situation. there were brown people on a public sidewalk and these people were scared.

the fact the governor is already throwing around pardon talk basically says these two numbskulls broke a law.

if you don't like the law, call your legislator and lobby for them to change it Trumptards. or, you know, keep bitching on TKC.

The situation escalated when an armed couple approached people in an angry and threatening way. You can’t argue fear when you the one making aggressive steps toward what you fear:

Just stay in commercial areas, burn businesses, paint signs on the streets and topple statues and you're safe to scream, rant, demand and generally turn decent society against you. Moving to residence areas will soon result in bodies very quickly.

  27. Charges were brought by St. Louis Circuit Attorney (equivalent to our County Prosecutor) Kim Gardner.

She is the first African-American to head the Circuit Attorney's Office. Under Gardner's tenure, St. Louis has seen a significant increase in non-prosecuted felonies. In 2019, St. Louis police sought 7,045 felony cases, but only 1,641 were prosecuted by Gardner's office.

She is a professional flunky, who somehow managed to graduate from law school. A majority of her campaign donations were traced to George Soros-linked subversive groups intent on wreaking havoc in the U.S. Upon her election, nearly the entire staff of the Circuit Attorney's office resigned, quit, or was forced out. She appointed a law school friend and attorney in-poor-standing to be her primary advisor.

Gardner is also the one who conducted a witch-hunt against former MO Gov. Eric Greitens. Greitens had an affair with his hairdresser (before he became Governor) and used poor judgment, but was exonerated of charges in the end. Gardner was shown to have pursued false charges, conspired with a former FBI investigator to fabricate evidence, and lie to the court. She's the one that should be sentenced to prison.

St. Louis and Kansas City are examples of the extreme dysfunction that happens when liberal activist Democrats are allowed to hold political office.

  32. When the video first emerged I thought it was a joke...a parody thing, not news. I thought so because of the way the woman is holding the gun...free hand on hip, gun hand limp wrist, bent elbow. At one point in the video the man turns toward his wife with the barrel of the gun pointed at her. I couldn't tell after several views but if that barrel was not pointed at her it was pretty damn close.

I'm not a gun owner so help me out here...do either of these people look qualified to have weaponry?

    ReplyDelete
  33. These people don't look qualified to breathe without assistance. They must have inherited their money or won the Lotto since on their own they would be in a trailer park in some small town.

  34. Attorney General Eric Schmitt's office filed an amicus brief urging the court to dismiss the case against the McCloskeys. John Sauer, Missouri's solicitor general, wrote that Missouri's laws "specifically authorize Missouri citizens to use firearms to deter assailants and protect themselves, their families, and homes from threatening or violent intruders."

    ReplyDelete
  35. The law is on their side, there are no rights to "peacefully" protest on private property

    ReplyDelete
  36. ^^Wow. The stupid ape can cut and paste. Moron.

    ReplyDelete
  37. A Saint Louis University constitutional and criminal law professor said the private street where the McCloskeys live is covered by the Castle Doctrine.

"There was no right to protest on their street. The protesters were actually trespassing," professor Anders Walker said.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Reasoning with Trumpturds is a no win situation. Trump said it best:

I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?"

Law and order means nothing to Re-pubic-hairs unless its used against brown people. W are in a very said time.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Attorney General Eric Schmitt is stepping in to help the McCloskeys. He announced he's trying to get the case dismissed.

"Enough is enough. As Missouri's chief law enforcement officer, I simply will not stand by while Missouri's law is being ignored," he said in a video statement.

Schmitt was referencing the Castle Doctrine, which in Missouri, allows people to defend not only their homes but their property.

    ReplyDelete
  40. 10:25 you're the moron whose pissed at seeing the truth. So what if it's copied and pasted, the truth always speaks out over you retarded statements.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Missouri Castle Doctrine only permits a show of force “against a person who unlawfully enters, remains after unlawfully entering, or attempts to unlawfully enter private property that is owned or leased by an individual.”

In the videos seen by millions, racial justice demonstrators do not actually appear to step onto the property owned by personal injury attorneys Mark McCloskey and Patricia McCloskey–so Parson’s reliance on the law he helped craft appears to be off-base here.

Harvard Law School Prof. Ronald S. Sullivan, Jr., similarly told the Washington Post that the castle doctrine “would still be unavailable” because “[t]he defendant has to be reasonably afraid of being in imminent danger.” He said that the video of the McCloskeys make that argument “very difficult.”

    ReplyDelete
  42. What if the trespassers are threatening to KILL YOU?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Gardner has dragged her feet with these charges for a reason. She has to win a primary in a couple of weeks and she is looking at this filing to help boost her a win. She knows nothing will be done in a court room til after the primary. Plus she is hoping they will accept her diversion programs designed to "reduce unnecessary involvement with the courts. Then she avoids a trial she will lose as a good attorney will file for a change of venue to get Gardner out of her crooked court system. The burden of proof is on Gardner and she doesn't have it now in this case anymore than than she did in her smear case against former Gov Eric Greitens

    ReplyDelete
  44. What part of "illegal" do personal injury attorneys Mark and Patricia McCloskey not understand?

Thats said, its a crime to wave a gun around at a crowd, as you dont know the intention of each person, they were on the way to the Mayor's house -NOT HIS. Now had they proclaimed "lets kill the mayor and burn her house" it would be justifyed by the Mayor and she could wave a gun.

  64. And let their house be burned down around them and lose everything? What stupid advice. They decided that it was better to confront the mob while outside the house to protect their property.

McCloskey said. “We were told that we would be killed, our home burned and our dog killed. We were all alone facing an angry mob.”

    ReplyDelete
  65. The mob is of their own creation. They are progressives to the core. Hands off this one Republican's. It feels off, like we're about to get burned. Let the law run its course. The dumb broad waggling her pea shooter like a school marm deserves a charge. They should have gone ahead and shot. It would have been justified. An angry antifa/BLM mob coming to eat the rich.

  66. You cant burn a limestone mansion. It was under reconstruction too. They were not living there. Words yelled at you mean nothing until someone tries to follow up and do the crime. 67. Mark McCloskey, an attorney, recalled last month, “I went inside; I got a rifle … because as soon as I said ‘this is private property,’ those words enraged the crowd. … Horde, an absolute horde came through the smashed-down gates, coming right at the house. And then I stood out there, the only thing we said is, ‘This is private property, go back, private property, leave now.’ At that point, everybody got enraged, there were people wearing body armor.”

“One person pulled out [some] loaded pistol magazines and he clicked them together and he said, ‘You’re next,’” McCloskey continued. “We were threatened with our lives, threatened with the house being burned down, my office building being burned down, even our dog’s life being threatened. It was about as bad as it can get. You know, I really thought it was the storming of Bastille, that we would be dead and the house would be burned and there was nothing we could do about it. It was a huge and frightening crowd and they broke in the gate and they were coming at us.”
