The Kansas City homicide count continues to heat up along with local temperatures; here's the latest deadly shooting report that adds another fatality to the spate of murders this year compared to only 75 at this time last year . . .
KMBC: 1 dies in shooting Monday near Eighth, Prospect
KSHB: Police responded around 9:15 p.m., where the victim initially was located with life-threatening injuries.
KCTV5: KC police investigating fatal shooting Monday night
Developing . . .
Maybe if we renamed Prospect, there would be fewer killings there?
ReplyDelete^^^ Unlikely.
DeleteKC needs to do something about the violence in the street that's killing more and more people. It would be nice if some of the protesters and police came together to talk about this problem rather than just arguing about the stupid election in so many words.

Less talk, more arrests!
ReplyDelete@ 11:19 Talk? Half those animals can't form a complete sentence, and they are too stupid to listen anyway. We should give them all some reparations money, a passport, and a boat ticket to some subSaharan country. It would be cheaper for us all in the long run to get rid of the thugs.
ReplyDelete11:19 Is there rainbows and unicorns where you come from?
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can give the individuals (murderous blacks) involved in this heinous crime a participation trophy and they’ll suddenly quit murdering each other, yup, that’s the ticket...... dumbass.
Build a police station.
ReplyDelete11:51, FTW. Just make it mandatory that in order to get the reparations, they must go back to Africa. They’ve been free for 150+ years - no reason they should stay here in this country they find so horrible.
ReplyDeleteAfrica doesn't want those animals either
DeleteMeanwhile, in the major leagues, Baltimore has 175 murders and Chicago has 392. Our hood rats are inept and unmotivated. Chicago has 102 murders in the last 30 days.
ReplyDeleteand 5 million residents
DeleteSome of the City Council Members and the Jackson County Prosecutors Office do not support law and order and this is why the city is unsafe!
ReplyDeleteThe notion of "talking" with the protestors is a fool's errand.
ReplyDeleteYou might have noticed that none of them have any serious ideas or recommendations about reducing crime, violence, or homicides.
That's because none of them have taken the time to try to actually learn anything about who is doing what and how complicated organizations and issues might better be addressed.
They want "change", which is a rather amorphous idea from which to try to craft any public policies or police procedures.
And they have a long list of what they don't want, with nothing at all of consequence to replace what they want gone.
That's why the whole BLM "movement" is actually a huge scam from which some people made lots of money, got lots of TV face time, and became temporary celebrities.
But none of their "demands" are going to take place in KCMO and the infighting, accusations, and fights over who's the "leader", and especially who gets the money are already well underway.
It's all yesterday's news and any future marches are little mmore than background noise.
And for the thousands of low-information, useful idiot, hangers-on.....
Thanks for playing!
I support BonB crime.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, nobody saw nuthing.
ReplyDeleteProspect once again. Certainly is a group of people. Blame time diversion time. Blame the cops, NRA legal gun owners,The list goes on. Weapons of choice- which can not do anything without a person's choice. Or it is the same people, same people that will kill a 4 year old and hide out the killer. Where is BLM the chicken shit organization that puts up the Rainbow flag quicker than support the black community ? BLM is being ran by people that don't care about Blacks at all. Obviously. Stop putting up signs and painting graffiti, go after the actors for once. Place total blame on their actions.
ReplyDeleteMe drink firewater. Me do Tomahawk Chop. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteWe already incarcerate at 5x the rate of other countries. 30k per year to imprison a person. 80% serving for nonviolent crime. More of the same thinking might temporarily imprison criminals but it won't fix what's broken. What it will do is line the pockets of private prison corporations like GEO that spent $1.5 million lobbying Congress last year. GEO rewards their buds with cushy jobs after they leave office.
ReplyDeleteWe had a killing spree in KC in the 70's and it was fixed by locals in what became a national model. The community now is focussed on fingerpointing and racial stereotypes rather than figuring out acceptable constitutional solutions. Doesn't help that Trump is blowing the dog whistle.
There are plenty of successful methods to reduce drug crime, beginning with treating drug useage as a medical addiction and reducing drug costs to strip out the profit margins that drive criminal organizations, recruitment, and killings.
A national policy employing police to incarcerate addicts is about as stupid and polarizing as it gets when there are demonstrably superior methods of reducing drug related crimes. Look, prohibition has never worked. Never will. But it sure makes good TV when the cavalry starts shooting. Cui bono?
Wasn't JC Nichols the cause of the homicides in a certain community?
ReplyDeleteNow that his plaque is gone;there are still homicides in a certain community.
Frank White may be on to something. The Andrew Jackson statue is on a killing spree.

They don't want Africa either. Can't think of one Country in Africa that will supply them with an I phone, Charger on 24's , dope money and housing . And they all know it . The Mecca homeland is a shit hole and anyone here was provided the greatest gift compared to staying . Marcus Garvey had an empty boat but many people pretending they packed their steamers. Did I forget the crime rate in all African Countries ? LOL
