PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KS (KCTV) -- Two Shawnee Mission East students who attended athletic conditioning this week have tested positive for COVID-19. The students did practice social distancing and adhere to all safety procedures, according to an online statement.

ReplyDeleteTesting positive for the coronavirus does NOT mean the person is sick or even knows that they've been exposed.
These were 2 high school student/athletes. I doubt either had symptoms or even felt ill. This was Shawnee Mission, but to put it in perspective, guess how many people in KCMO (ages 0 to 29) have died from COVID-19? ZERO!
We need to stop scaring people. For most people this is the flu and nothing more. The whole state of Florida hasn't had a single person under 18 die!
