Waddell & Reed plan narrowly passes KC Council - even with controversial garage

Despite vehement objections from neighbors and the two members who represent the area, a divided City Council on Thursday signed off on a development plan for Waddell & Reed, which plans to build an 18-story office building in downtown.

They will be working from home. If Waddell & Reed were smart and looking after shareholder interests they would cancel that project. Office space is going to get real cheap.

Remember who voted in favor of this, and then check their campaign contribution reports.
KC Council has a history of selling votes for "mutual funds" from friendly benefactors.
