Senators Hawley and Blunt Among a Partisan Effort to Get Dairy Farmers Assistance
Dairy farmers across the state and nationwide impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic could soon be receiving assistance. In a letter signed by Missouri Republican Senators Roy Blunt and Josh Hawley, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is being urged to use agriculture assistance provisions in the CARES Act to provide stability to the dairy industry and to help prevent a collapse in farm milk prices.
It's a good thing we're a socialist country, & can support entire industries just because we want the service, or product, that they provide.

DeleteDairy cows must be milked twice a day, every day, or they will stop producing milk. At the same time, they must have food. These facts have nothing to do with politics or socialism. This is not something that can be closed down, and reopened, at will.
