The White House has invited Senator Josh Hawley (R., Mo.) to join its task force on reopening the U.S. economy, following Hawley's proposal that the federal government pay 80 percent of workers' wages until the coronavirus crisis subsides.

    1. Actually my comment at 7:12 was tongue-in-cheek. I agree with you, but have you ever noticed on this blog how everyone blows a gasket when government at any level tries to do anything for the poor? The response to the city's making buses free is a prime example. I just can't resist tweaking the right-wing freaks.
