Kansas Faith Community Fights For Religious Freedom Amid Coronavirus Crackdown

Ineffective politicos with no real leadership skills and exceptionally poor messaging backed by corporate media hacks have let the coronavirus lockdown devolve into a debate betwixt Church Vs. State and a very real existential fight over who people really believe and trust . . . Sadly, it could have been unifying moment if there wasn't a horrific partisan rift pitting neighbor against neighbor. Checkit:

  1. "Giving to Caesar what is Caesar's" means obeying the government you live under. Unless you want to call Jesus Christ a liar and claim he only applied that rule to tax law. And why would Jesus do that? Churches are supposed to save people - not let them die early from Coronavirus. These people are hypocrits

“And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

  3. Seems like the church services are often more about young people playing music, guitars, singing etc for long periods of time, most of the service. Then a scant few minutes are spent on the Bible. Should be the other way around. and we should put the worse singers and worse guitar players on the stage to perform - thus preventing PRIDE, the root of all evil, from appearing in the church. Will the expert guitar players and singers agree to that?

  4. My question to the Kansas Governor -

    WHERE'S my unemployment check ?

All these new-fangled computers can't even print a check!

Why can't Kansas get my unemployment check off the internet?

President Trump personally signed my tax stimulus check and deposited it in my checking account.

Why can't the Kansas Governor be nice like President Trump?

Is she keeping our unemployment check for herself?

My maw needs new underwear! We ain' t got no toilet paper no more.
