  1. Glad to see health officials are on top of it. I think the economic impact will be more significant here. This community is prone to overreact. Their whole existence was because of fear of the urban core. but in many ways their health infrastructure is even worse than KC. Just look at how many homeless they're dealing with now.

    2. ^^^ STUPID!

Just hope this doesn't get politicized like everything else in JoCo. Already I see a lot of people BLAMING others for a sickness that looks very easily spreadable.

  2. ^^^^ public health is not socialism...it is a governmental service, but the government does not own the health care system.

Life's gonna be great after April because, you know because according to Trump "by April, you know, in theory, when it gets a little warmer, it miraculously goes away.”

  16. If the Big 12 basketball tournament is not affected, then their is nothing to worry about.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I was the insider who posted yesterday about how the Coronavirus was already here and had been for a little while and that the Big 12 tournament needs to be canceled to prevent it from a super spreader. No one believed me and that's fine but know that it has been in KCMO for a while and the Big 12 tournament hasn't been canceled is because it's a vanity event for Q even though it will lead to MANY more people getting infected. The mayor has bungled it and there's a big story if anyone in this city wants to do some real journalism and go against the establishment.

If you don't have a reason to go outside, DON'T. It's going to get bad in the next couple weeks be ready and stay safe. In case you don't believe me, Dallas will announce it within the next couple days too.

    1. Then you're an irresponsible prick for posting unsubstantiated rumors and fearmongering. "Don't go outside"? Utter fucking nonsense.

I WAS OUTSIDE TODAY, FOLKS! AND I LIVED TO TELL THE TALE!!!

Yeah so tell us all what the mayor could have done differently for an issue that's being handled on the federal level. That'll be worth a few Saturday Night Laughs.

  18. Certainly you Boomers can see the delicious irony in having elected, supported, and lied for a President who is incapable of doing a damn thing to the stop the spread of a disease that will most likely take out a majority of his supporters. OK Boomers???

    ReplyDelete
  19. literally told you. He could put pressure to have the Big 12 tournament canceled. That is a local issue. Making a strawman about how the federal gov't should stop the big 12 is just plain silly. I'm doing my part to keep you guys safe...yes even you, the person who's full of hate from some deep insecurity.

    Be safe out there guys.

Not really top secret. It was on the news two days ago:

Daily Mail is pretty much the best source for this kind of sensationalism. It's good that they put it out but not sure if I'd take it too seriously with all their other tabloid coverage.

  31. Johnson County does NOT have a single fall-out shelter. And we are still at a risk of nuclear war or a nuclear accident. Public tornado shelters don't exist. Signage to decent areas to hide from a tornado don't exist. If you think Kansas or the county can do anything to help you in an emergency then you are wrong. All the fallout shelters were closed and the food supplies toss out. The biggest employers in Kansas City will naturally have the largest number of cases of the virus. But nothing is being done to address them.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Its odd mexico has no virus. if it hits Mexico, many will die due to bad health and no medical care. Who is going to provide emergency aid to mexico? Bet its the USA, as logistically we are at their border. If there is a 3.5% death rate, then 75,000 people in Kansas City might die. If its 1%, then 25,000 people will die. Some Chiefs players, some city government staff, business leaders, many doctors. Its really not going to be anything we can imagine now. My guess is the National Guard will run the show.

  33. This is like some kind of social experiment. Some people are doing well and avoiding panic while others just need a small excuse to go off the deep end. Really encourage that there are some reasonable voices on this blog to contradict the hysteria.

Sad history the Democrats have and it continues today with two old, Boomer white guys vying to be their candidate. Very Progressive there Snowflakes !
