Kansas City City Metro Nurses Need Love

A down low note sent in by one of our BEST & BRIGHTEST TKC READERS offer a glimpse of kindness, concern and craftiness gleaned from social media on the QT and very hush-hush:

"I have been in contact with a charge nurse at Overland Park Regional's Pediatric ER. They are in need of masks. I am donating some construction masks that I was going to use for a drywall project. She is going to pick them up on Monday before her night shift. Please check your workshops and garages and let me know if you have any masks to donate. If you have some, let me know and leave them on the front porch. I will pick them up. Thanks"

From what we hear the effort was successful and just one of many ways locals are pitching in to help workers on the front lines of the pandemic.

Developing . . .
