Top doctor says Johnson County, Kansas has reached level of community transmission

Top health officials say Johnson County has reached a level of community transmission of COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus.Dr. Lee Norman, secretary of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, said that five of 11 cases were acquired locally, meaning the patients had not traveled and had no known contact.There are a total 12 presumptive positives cases of the coronavirus in Johnson County and 21 total statewide.Norman said only those hospitalized would be tested for the virus.

  2. The JO,will have a Tuff road a hoe. Buckle down .The unemployment rate will hit the JO.HARDER THEN THE virus. Corporations can't afford to pay employees. People have slowed down spending. Unless you sell toilet paper and food in stores, and yes fast food most people will have ten dollars in their pocket.
