ASK TKC: NO, YOU PROBABLY DIDN'T GET WU-TANG PLAGUE FROM THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS SUPER BOWL PARADE!!!
A local question that also serves as an indictment of our public education system and the social media information age . . .
"Hey TKC, noticed that a lot of people are sick after the Chiefs parade. Do you think it's possible that the Chinese virus was spread in the crowd?"
Our answer, with respect to the fact that the Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing Ta F' Wit . . .
NO, YOU DOLT, THE WU-TANG THREAT FOR KANSAS CITY IS THANKFULLY LOW RIGHT NOW!!! BUT STANDING IN THE COLD ALL DAY AROUND A BUNCH OF BOOZING FANBOYS PROVED EFFECTIVE AT SICKENING MANY LOCALS!!!
Reminder:
As the world focuses on coronavirus, a deadly flu has killed at least 10,000 Americans
HOWEVER, that's not a good comparison because the troubles in China could be far more deadly than the American sickness that is mostly cured with chicken noodle soup.
Still . . .
All of this leads us to real world news sources that take reporting of this threat far more seriously than Chiefs fans who are already planning next year's Super Bowl party for survivors . . .

China hid the severity of its coronavirus outbreak and muzzled whistleblowers - because it can

ReplyDelete^^^^ I'm told that readers who can actually take a joke and glean some info from this blog are greatly appreciated!
ReplyDeleteRead a really good article about how Chinese children aren't getting this disease. That's a good think for the young ones but may signal a year over year struggle with the problem.
ReplyDeleteWired link i the only one worth reading. Whataboutism also has sickened our political conversations and made any real progress impossible.
ReplyDeleteI guess the NFL won't be covering hospital costs either.
ReplyDeleteGO CHIEFS!
What is surprising is that this virus hasn’t killed millions yet, given the compacted population of chinas cities and the filthy conditions that large populations create
ReplyDeleteIf you e ever been to any Asian country, you will be stunned at the living conditions no American would tolerate
Could it be caused by eating cats and dogs? Has this been considered?
ReplyDeleteI went to market in Korea once. Walked past rows of baskets filled with chicken heads, bats, snakes and anything you can imagine. I’m surprised there hasn’t been a mid evil plague over there yet
DeleteEverybody you meet is now not only a climatologist but also an epidemiologist.
ReplyDeleteGot skidmarks in their drawers but they can tell you how this virus will pan out.
So did Millions of people. Including me. In China, etc. Don't be a drama queen.

I saw a Groupon for an ass or vagina steam. You sit in this chair with a hole in the bottom and they steam up there with herbs and spices.
ReplyDeleteIts only killing 1 to 2% of total infected. Problem is if everyone worldwide gets it. Then 1 or 2 out of every 100 employees, politicians, actors, sport stars, musicians and of course ordinary people will die. Its a serious issue IF it spreads. China would rather save "China" than its individual citizens. Mao started that trend. So they let it run for a while, not caring. Now it too late. China will crash and burn for sure.
ReplyDeleteBaseball will be cancelled this year. I am sure of it.
ReplyDeleteOh no, the Astros won't be able to bang on their trash cans?

ReplyDeleteWe need a millenial sexually transmitted fatal disease to save this country! Strokes couldnt get the job done which is why Nancy, Schummer, Nadler and Schiff are still alive. What we need is a virus that selectivly kills stupid people!!
ReplyDeleteThe NFL REALLY HAS OFFERED TO PAY HOSPITAL BILLS of people who got sick at the parade. And the chiefs are providing for the education of the children of anyone who died. SO THERE!
