Now, whilst it might seem harsh to some, here's more insight from a comment fave that offers insight into the motivations of pro-gun supporters. And if you read closely, I'm only posting it because it seems like a call for cooler heads to prevail and PEACE during what is a non-violent protest.
CHUCK: LOBBY DAY
Many on both sides of the "Culture War" that divides America, believe, and I agree, that a "Thucydides Trap" is an ever growing possibility, that will drive us into a "Shooting War". There is a justified fear on the right, that new demographics in combination with the irredentist cultural imperialism of immigration policies in combination with Fascist/Progressive attacks on the Constitution are a real threat to the freedoms and liberty of everyday Americans.
Here in this "Dirty Little Town", the only place you can actually express yourself, anonymously, or, using your name, is TKC. The First Amendment has been diminished and in most places abrogated by people who now literally have careers based on "Being Offended". Your job, your family's future, your prospects for gainful employment are all morphed through the myopic, blinkered, sclerotic, soup de jour approval process of strangers on social media platforms that conform to the whim and caprice of Tech Valley Titan "Group Think" ideologues. The 4th and 6th Amendment are also on the menu, but this Monday, the special will be the 2nd Amendment, served up in Virginia, on MLK Day with the very real possibility of a side dish of violence.
Virginia's Governor "Blacface" Northam, in no fear of "bad optics" at this point, has set a trap for 2nd Amendment supporters that could reap the whirlwind if he gets his way. Scheduled this coming Monday, in Richmond, is "Lobby Day". Thousands of 2nd Amendment supporters are marching on Richmond in a show of their Constitutional rights.
In preparation for this event, Northam has implied that those coming to march, are "White Supremacists" and has justified stoking the fires by claiming-----
"We have received credible threats from our law enforcement agencies that malicious groups... (snip) the intelligence comes from both off line and on line channels and ...(snip) the "Dark Web".
Ominously, it is not difficult to see what is coming.
I won't go into details, it is lengthy, but Northam has set up fences and barricades that will drive 2nd Amendment supporters into the throngs of Anti-Fa counter supporters while he does his best Alfred E. Neuman, "What me worry?" smirk.
He (seemingly) hopes for, as does the entirety of the 4th Estate and the Left, a bloody confrontation that can be used to bludgeon political opponents.
We have seen, again and again and again, violent attacks from the Left on Trump supporters (I will no doubt have to post the URLs in the comment section in short order.). The hopes are here, from Northam that for once, the Left can get the kind of video evidence of violence from the Right, that has been the baliwick of the Left, for the last 4 years. The logistics now set in place, for this coming Monday in Richmond, could well bear just the kind of rotten fruit that Northam is hoping for.

ReplyDeleteHighly likely that on Monday, a conflict will be triggered by the Left against the Citizens and the Media will reverse the cause and claim that Citizen assembly is "Nazism" - and Leftist loyalist law enforcement will mirror the Media Narrative.
ReplyDeleteIt would be wise for any clear thinking Citizen to avoid grandstanding public protest events and gather/communicate in groups away from the public center to plan targeted actions against the leaders responsible for the conflict - avoiding the possibility of a fool's self sacrifice for their political principles.
The only violent out-of-state radicals that will show up will be ANTI-fa. In Northam's EO he specifically mentioned helmets as weapons that are prohibited. You can count on ANTI-fa to wear them and there will be no penalties or pushback against them. There will also be government plants, disguised as patriots there to spark violence. This is one big set-up with one objective- to cause a riot and blame it on law abiding citizens who only want their constitutional rights upheld.

They were allowed to congregate anywhere they wanted to without a permit and block streets and even march down freeways while chanting 'they wanted dead cops and they wanted them now'.
ReplyDeleteTheir civil disobedience led to a real war on cops and subsequently dozens of cops were assassinated because of it yet the media always referred to them as 'peaceful protestors' exercising their 'free speech rights'. Their spokespeople were frequent visitors to the White House.
Compare the kid glove treatment the BLM street thugs were afforded to the demonisation the people from the Virginia Civilian Defense League have received who are characterized as white nationalists/white supremacists and lumped in with out of state militias (code for white nationalists/white supremacists) and hate groups.
The only people causing problems Monday will be liberal/anti gun plants.

The so-called Right-Left political divide is actively cultivated for a very good reason. It keeps people like you distracted, angry, and yelling at your neighbors, instead of understanding the truth in the world.
