SHOCK!!! KANSAS CITY PROPHET FORETOLD CHIEFS SUPER BOWL WIN WOULD UNLEASH ARMAGEDDON!!!

An ominous prediction is running rampant through social media circles regarding The Kansas City Chiefs and the fate of the world.

The proclamation . . .

A SO-CALLED KANSAS CITY PROPHET PREDICTED THE CHIEFS WINNING THE SUPER BOWL WAS A SIGN OF END TIMES!!!

The prediction came from an evangelical minister names Bob Jones who is NOT connected with Bob Jones University. He is described as a "prominent figure in the New Apostolic Reformation, Mr. Jones was the most controversial of all the ‘Kansas City Prophets.’ Leaders at the infamous Kansas City Fellowship described him publicly as a “resident seer.”"

Another interesting fact about Mr. Jones and his prophesy: "Mr. Jones claimed that he died in 1975, but that God “sent him back to minister to church leadership and reach the multitudes with His love, truth and equipping the saints with understanding of the spiritual gifts.”"

The words of Mr. Jones were recently recycled by Author/Speaker/Producer/spiritual coach/podcaster Shawn Bolz in a trending social media post that reads:

"Bob Jones had heard from God that the Chiefs would go to the Super Bowl and win it. He shared that when they won it would be a sign of upcoming and end time revival.
He explained that God is raising up His chiefs to be apostolic leaders in many spheres of influence.

"Today if you follow football you will see that the Chiefs have their first chance for 50 years as they are going to the Super Bowl! This could be the time! Let’s pray!"

A look at the public post . . .

The bookies and sports gamblers also seem to be hoping for the end of the world as oddsmakers join with more devout souls in favoring the Chiefs.

And so, this perspective is the most dire and possibly hopeful Super Bowl news which offers the promise of revival and momentum for Kansas City and the world if football victory is accomplished.

  1. All of the wackos come out for Super Bowl. It'll be worse around here because very few people have the resources to make the trip to Miami.

    1. I don't want to belittle the man's beliefs. If that's what some people think, fine. But maybe a repeat victory could give humanity another chance. It would raise the hopes of this city.

  2. This make sense considering that most people said Hell would freeze over before the Chiefs won the Super Bowl.

  3. "God is raising up His chiefs to be apostolic leaders in many spheres of influence?" Really?! B.S..... The bible talks about all aspects of daily life -except sports. Christ had all kinds of parables - none about sports. Which you think would be odd since athletes watched him preach and they had marathons, rowing races, weightlifting, wrestling, chariot racing, horse racing, spear throwing, archery, shotput, discus, swimming and jumping competitions long BEFORE CHRIST was born. Sports was deleted from Christ's parables as it is a form of vanity. "I am better than you" is vain. And very temporary - a football player of 1956 is a frail old man today. Plus you are born with your body - its not something you make. Just like being born with looks -you had no control over it, or even who your parents would be. Vanity of vanitys. Thus nutcase preacher is unbiblical. The Chiefs are not mentioned in the Bible at all. Call the men in white coats to take him away.

Bob Jones sold me a pair of red ostrich boots and prophesied:

"When the Chiefs win the Super Bowl with a shoe collector taking snaps and a woman/child beater receiver who pees like a dog on the field, you will know that the Almighty is about to unleash Armageddon on those who worship the pigskin on Sunday!!!"

  11. Isn't that they preacher who was at Mike Bickles's IHOP Church...the one where Bill Tammeus LITERALLY made fun of his brother in a wheel chair because he wasn't healed fast enough? (That was when I learned to utterly DESPISE Billy Tammeus.)

  15. Mike Bickle's IHOP is a cult and along with the New Apostolic Reformation crowd (Bethel, Hillsong, etc.) they are associated with teach outrageous HERESY. Bob Jones is a sexual deviant who sexually abused women who came to him to be prophesied over. The other "so-called" prophet who was foundational in IHOP's history is a guy named Paul Cain who was an alcoholic and homosexual. This is a very manipulative group that preys especially on naive young adults - though adults too stupid to actually read their Bibles are easily mislead as well. Stay far away!!!

  20. First the Article is WRONG!!! He never said its the END of THE WORLD... He said the End Time Revival would start... BIG DIF.. hopefully these people who wright this stuff will get the facts straight... FAKE MEDIA in the church...

    Also the word
    a·poc·a·lypse

Does not mean the END OF THE WORLD.. it means to remove the Veil.. it speaks of the Glory of Jesus being revealed...

    1. FINALLY! Someone who knows the truth. Bob Jones did NOT say the end times or apocalypse would come. Let's make sure not to take things out of context. Plus look at the fruit guys talk with judgement and hatred. Not a good fruit of the spirit. Cant we go forward in love as Jesus taught and not splitting hairs that bring division and mockery.

  21. Where did you get that definition of Apocalypse?
It derives from the Greek word for to reveal all right,
but more in the sense of a discovery of something deliberately hidden.

And if your definition is indeed correct, then the Glory to be revealed is the Glory Of God, not of his messenger.
Remember, "thou shall have no other Gods before me"?
I don't care what Constantine decreed in the 4th Century.
(Or what Reverend Joe-Bob Wayne Dwayne told you last Sunday.)
