At the outset of the new year the Mayor hoped to bring the murder total under 100. Now, the level of killing is TRENDING HIGHER THAN THE PAST 10 YEARS with still more than a week of January left to go.

When asked how we move forward as a city, Lucas said, "Step one -- we have to be resolved that we'll make a difference."

Lucas should be basking in the nations limelight as mayor of the town whose ball team is headed to the Super Bowl. Instead he is having to talk about how negroes of which he is one can't behave and not kill one another. Time for Lucas to admit what the problem is. But there are hundreds and hundreds in Joco. Well actually thousands of Glocks carried daily in Joco. While they may shoot a bad guy, they might accidentally hit others. I think this maybe why bad guys stay on the east side of town for the most part.
