  4. Seriously?

C'mon - the Chiefs aren't honoring anything but the almighty dollar; never have been, never will. It's a sport controlled by billionaires to enlarge both their pocketbooks and their egos, nothing more.

The fact that anyone would assume native American protests, however well intentioned, would receive an honestly impartial hearing only highlights the drastic split between The Depolorables and the rest of us; the nation is seriously devolving into a 3rd world banana republic.

All hail the new overlords and their greedy, grasping ways.

  7. Maybe we should change the name to Kansas City Calvalry. We could have a 1860’s Calvary soldiers slaughter a couple of Native Americans. Not for real, just pregame antics.

Or we could just finire pieces of shit like Vincent.

  9. The name of the football team "chiefs" is derogatory. The issues was concluded decades ago. The owners of the football team choose not to address the issue decades ago. Now the team is in the spotlight and the derogatory nature of the team name is in the spotlight.

  10. yeah..but the Washington "Redskins" is cool

  11. So what if “Chiefs” is derogatory. It’s only Indians. Who cares?

  13. Or you could take naming our football team in honor of your culture as a compliment?

  14. Harold Roe Bennett Sturdevant Bartle (June 25, 1901 – May 9, 1974) was an American ... in 1962, owner Lamar Hunt renamed the franchise the Kansas City Chiefs after Bartle's nickname, "The Chief." From Wikipedia. Team named after former Mayor. Just another hack who can fact check anything before opening their mouth.

  15. The "Mayor Chief" was into cultural appropriation. That doesn't justify the mascot.

Ban the mascot, ban the chop.

  22. I'd be more worried of why his people choose pills and booze to end their lives early. I doubt any of them suffered due to any symbol or franchise name.

  23. As too often happens, upon graduation from J-School this idiot assumed he had acquired the wisdom and knowledge to lecture everybody else about their moral shortcomings. But it is beyond arrogant for him to pretend he's speaking for all American Indian tribes everywhere. Is he even an enrolled member of a particular tribe? And if so, has that tribe authorized him to speak on their behalf? Doubtful. But regardless of his tribal affiliation, he has no authority to speak for other tribes, who may be as different from his tribe as night is from day.

  24. Just give that loser a couple beads and tell him to fuck off

  25. Unknown and obscure journalist is trying hard not to be unknown and obscure.

As a native American myself, this is nothing more than manufactured butthurt to make a few Indian activist appear relevant and possibly score a payday. The DAPL protests at Standing Rock is a clear example of one tribe's leadership not getting their pockets lined so artificial concern over the environment was created.

In short, fuck this guy with one of Sharice Davids' nasty dildoes.
