Spoiler alert . . . Half of these places won't make it till the end of next year. But the future isn't assured for anybody. So, we wish them all good luck as they cater to an increasingly fickle cowtown foodie crowd.

As Kansas City sits perched at the end of one decade of dining and the beginning of another, we look back and marvel at all the incredible new restaurants, coffee shops, bars, breweries and distilleries that have opened this year.
LOL, you can do better during "happy hour" than most of the "restaurant week" specials.
