Kansas City police are investigating a shooting late Monday afternoon near 31st Street and Prospect Avenue.Authorities said officers were called to the Popeye's restaurant at 4:50 p.m.Police said there was a disturbance inside the restaurant and the confrontation rolled out into the parking lot.Police said a man was shot, suffering non-life-threatening injuries.The shooter left the area before police arrived.
