KCPD investigates shooting near 31st, Prospect Monday

Kansas City police are investigating a shooting late Monday afternoon near 31st Street and Prospect Avenue.Authorities said officers were called to the Popeye's restaurant at 4:50 p.m.Police said there was a disturbance inside the restaurant and the confrontation rolled out into the parking lot.Police said a man was shot, suffering non-life-threatening injuries.The shooter left the area before police arrived.

In a notice filed Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Judge Mary Walrath approved the asset purchase and authorized the sale of certain assets to Landry's LLC, which is owned and led by Fertitta.
