Dead-Tree Update: Kansas City Star Still Going The Way OF The Dodo



Far ahead of our time, we made this prediction 10 years ago. As our news knowledge FINALLY came to pass, we talked about this in November, and then again this week, but here's another note that our readers wanted to share among the most dedicated blog readers:

KCTV5: The Kansas City Star to drop Saturday print edition

The change will take effect March 14.

      Thing is, I think most people know that even if they disagree with the opinions of the star it's important that a properly functioning City have a vibrant and active newspaper in order to document what's happening in a reliable manner. Sad thing is we haven't had that for years.

  2. Why pick Saturday? Why not Monday or Friday? Nobody cares about the commie red star, there hasnt been anything worth reading in the paper for years.

    NewsChannels keep investigating better than the Star ever did.

    Need a petition to have them not publish on Sundays.

    Why desecrate driveways with non- green tech?

    Call AOC today and demand laws prohibiting driveway littering with newspapers.
