(KCTV) --- Despite missing multiple games this season due to injury, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is one of the top vote-getters in the 2020 Pro Bowl vote after week one. The NFL said on Wednesday night that Mahomes has received 116,325 votes, second behind Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

The outlook for the former Mission Bowl building appears grim. The Mission City Council unanimously approved a resolution Monday that declares the building at 5399 Martway St. as unsafe. The 24-lane bowling alley closed nearly five years ago after a fire, and now, it could finally be demolished.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Overland Park Police Chief Frank Donchez announced this week that Johnson County law enforcement recruits will now undergo nearly double the amount of state-required mental health training hours starting in 2020. In a social media post on Tuesday, Donchez said the Johnson County Chiefs and Sheriffs Association voted to approve the change during a recent meeting.

    Now that is as big a joke as that debate that was just on.

    The issue with recycling around here is most people are to stupid to understand how it's done and should be done. Collecting and sorting drives the costs so high it's no longer worth it.
