The queen of TIF and the lady who started the Downtown building boom earns a great deal of love from City Hall. Here's a tribute clip recently released:
"Former KC Mayor Kay Barnes is recognized for her work to improve KC by Mayor Sly James. A ceremony was held to name a ballroom at H Roe Bartle Convention Center."
Take a look:
Developing . . .
Birds of a feather.

ReplyDeleteWhen are you going to name something after Gloria Squitiro, & her husband?
ReplyDeleteI know, how about the Psychic Fair?
Because there is no such thing as a psychic, or psychic phenomena, only narcissists who need to feel special.
That old hag is still alive?
ReplyDeleteBut isn’t that why you keep coming on a blog all the way from the great white state of West virginnie? You and Gloria are exactly the same, mentally deranged!
ReplyDeleteTOP PHOTO -- GETTING SCREWED
ReplyDeleteDid you hear about the sex therapist who transitioned into a politician?
It was a case of a prostitute becoming a whore!!!
Byron is very mentally deranged! He is on disability due to his insanity. Someday Mark too will be recognized for his work somehow. Byron will always be recognized as the mentally deranged person he is.
ReplyDeleteKay Bares commited fraud on the taxpayers of Kansas City. She did nothing to improve life in this city at all. She only strapped the city to dealing with huge costs for the operating of many unneeded buildings and fairy dreams much as James did.
Kredit Kard Kay.

ReplyDeleteshe scammed the taxpayers into building the empty Sprint center -- with NO NHL or NBA team to root for. Typical Democrat.
A question for organizers of Psychic Fairs:
ReplyDeleteWhen recruiting psychics to participate in Psychic Fairs- why send them invitations announcing the date and time?
They should already know.
Think of they money you would save.
^^^ Everybody knows that!
ReplyDeleteLet's not forget the sweetheart deals around KCIR. Have your buddies start buying property on the cheap cause it's next to a fvkin track, then start complaining about the track, have the city shut it down, then sell your newly valued property back to the city as park land. It's a win win for those crooks.
